Ribbon Pakoda


IMAGERY:


INGREDIENTS:
Rice Flour - 2 cups
Besan flour - 1/2 cup
Sesame seeds - 2 tsp
Red Chili powder - as required
Asafoetida - a pinch
Salt- as required
Water - as required
Hot Oil - 2 tsp
Oil - for deep Frying 

PREPARATION:
  • Mix rice flour, besan flour, sesame seeds, red chili powder,  asafoetida, salt together.
  •  Add water little by little and prepare the dough. Not to add much of water as excess of water will make the pakodas consume much of oil.
  • Add 2 tsp of hot oil so that we get the pakodas crisp.
  • Now heat the oil for deep frying. Take little dough in the muruku maker and squeeze it in the hot oil.
  • Once it is done, flip it using the ladle. 
  • When the sound and the froth of the oil subsides take it out from the hot oil and drain the excess oil.Repeat this for the remaining dough. 

    Ribbon Pakodas Ready :-)
