Payatha Ladoo

           Happiness is when we are in our hometown and prepare dishes  in the kitchen where our cooking skills initiated. Travelling to my home town gave me immense happiness and with all joy I prepared Payatha Ladoo for my friends. I learnt this recipe from my mom, enjoying the days at home. Its great for daughters to learn cooking from their mom and collaring a name for the outcome we give. Here comes the recipe of Payatha Ladoo, Mother-daughter learning...

INGREDIENTS:
Moong dal - 1 1/2 cup
Powdered came sugar - a little less than 1 1/2 cup
Hot Ghee - 1/2 cup

PREPARATION:
  • Dry roast moong dal till you get a nice aroma.

  • Grind this into a powder of rough texture.
  • Powder the cane sugar such that there's no lumps you get while mixing.
  • Mix the powdered dal and cane sugar and add hot ghee and mix well. Break the lumps with laddle.
  • Prepare small balls. If you dont get the balls binded add little more hot ghee.
