Capsicum Chutney ( Bell Pepper Chutney)

INGREDIENTS:

Capsicum -1 (chopped)
Tomato - 1 (chopped)
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Oil - 2 tbsp
Urad Dal - 2 tbsp
Green Chili - 2 ( based on the size)
Coriander leaves
Salt as required

PREPARATION:
  • Heat oil in a wok and add urad dal.
  • After it gets fried add the chopped onion and saute to become transparent.
  • Now add green chilli and tomatoes.

  •  When tomatoes get cooked add the chopped capsicum.
  •  Saute such that the raw smell of capsicum goes out.
  • Add some salt and coriander leaves.
  • Allow this to cool and then grind to get smooth chutney.

    Best served with dosa / idly  :-)
