INGREDIENTS:
For the batter:
Mix dal - 1 1/2 cup (Urad,Channa,moong,masoor -dals of your wish)
Ginger - half inch piece
Green chili - 1
Red Chili - 1
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Salt - as required
Others:
Grated Carrot - 1/2 cup
Finely chopped Onion - 1/2 cup
Cleaned boiled and finely chopped cauliflower - 1/2 cup
Finely chopped coriander leaves - little
Oil for frying

PREPARATION:
- Soak the mix dal in water for an hour.
- Drain the water and grind it along with ginger, chilies, curry leaves and the required salt. Grind it to 80% for the crispiness.
- Now mix this with the chopped vegetables and add little salt for the veggies.
- Take a small ball of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. you can use banana leaf piece to flatten the balls. Apply little water before you flatten so as to take it without sticking to your palm.
- Heat a wok and add oil for frying. Carefully put the flattened vadas into the oil. Cook the vadas in low flame.
- Fry the vadas and drain out the oil. Veggie vadas ready to serve......
